Some of The Marley Children

Ziggy Marley and the Melody Makers have shown that theirs is a music rooted in strong traditions. Their music has remained faithful to their father's teachings. They find the meaning of living in the Rastafarian Philosophy, in the Bible, and in mother Africa. "We experience it for ourselves and know it," explains Stephen, "not just hear it, or play it. We live it."

In addition to the current work with the Melody Makers, Stephen is also working with brothers Rohan{married to Lauryn Hill}, Julian, and Damian on a project called Ghetto Youths International.Ghetto Youths is a label headquartered in Kingston, Jamaica for young talent worldwide that would otherwise have no access to the music industry. Julian and Damian have each recently released albums, and are constantly writing, producing, and performing with the rest of the Marley family.
