An angel now
Up in the sky,
To be an angel
She had to die.

Brought down to earth
To comfort you,
There was a job
She had to do.

To bring you love
And comfort too,
To show that you
Could love her too.

She taught you all
How to have fun,
And now her time
On earth is done.

Don't mourn her soul
Don't shed lost tears,
She'll watch over you
Your remaining years.

And when your time
On earth has gone,
She'll wait for you
At Heavens Dawn.

To lead you over
The rainbow bridge,
And show you love
Over Heaven's Ridge.

You'll not take
Your final walk alone,
Your Angel will be there
To lead you to that Great Unknown.
